★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cooking is an art. You can learn the technique, but you can't learn the passion staat op de muur in restaurant en net die passie hebben wij gemist. Gerechten mooi gepresenteerd dat wel maar de vulling van de garnaalkroket was in het frituurvet achter gebleven, de filet mignon was een droog stuk vlees, de huisgemaakte frietjes waren ofwel te doorbakken ofwel bijna rauwe aardappel.
Op zondagavond lag de passie van de kok blijkbaar elders dan bij het eten waardoor het voor ons de balans prijs/ kwaliteit niet klopte.
Cooking is an art. You can learn the technique, but you can't learn the passion is on the wall in the restaurant and we missed that passion. Dishes beautifully presented, but the filling of the shrimp croquette had remained in the frying fat, the filet mignon was a dry piece of meat, the homemade fries were either overcooked or almost raw potato.
On Sunday evening, the cook's passion apparently lay elsewhere than with the food, which meant that the balance between price and quality was not right for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het eten is lekker en verzorgd gepresenteerd. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. De ruimte achterin het restaurant mist wat gezelligheid. (Mogelijks komt er verandering vermits op het infobord een week sluiting voor enkele veranderingen aangekondigd is)
The food is tasty and neatly presented. Good and friendly service. The space in the back of the restaurant lacks some coziness. (Maybe there will be a change since a week closure for some changes has been announced on the info board)
