A	Alessandra Piras on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per sabato 2 ottobre alle 20.30 e la prima impressione, una volta entrate nel locale, è stata quella di trovarsi in un ambiente che ricorda una casa spartana, molto carina. Il cameriere non ci ha degnato di nota e ci ha lasciate sul ciglio della porta per 10 minuti prima di venire ad accoglierci. Riguardo la cena, non ci è stato suggerito nessun piatto speciale, come al solito qui in Belgio non riescono a coccolare il cliente, e si sono pure dimenticati di portarci le bevande. Infatti, prima ci è arrivato il cibo e poi le bevande su doppia richiesta da parte nostra. Il cibo non è niente di speciale, poco sapore e inventiva, ma almeno non è il classico ristorantino belga dove ogni piatto contiene carne, quindi ottimo per cambiare gusto al palato. A loro vantaggio va il fatto che la porzione dei piatti era abbondante e quindi ci hanno preparato un pacchetto per poterci portare via il rimanente. Molto apprezzato perché così non si spreca nulla! Probabilmente ci tornerei se non trovassi altro in giro di sabato sera a Ghent e se per caso volessi un ambiente raccolto e con una bella atmosfera. Inoltre, parlano inglese, quindi un plus! We booked a table for Saturday 2 October at 8.30pm and the first impression, once you enter the restaurant, was that of being in an environment reminiscent of a spartan house, very nice. The waiter ignored us and left us at the edge of the door for 10 minutes before coming to greet us. Regarding dinner, no special dish was suggested to us, as usual here in Belgium they can't pamper the customer, and they even forgot to bring us drinks. In fact, first we got the food and then the drinks on double request from us. The food is nothing special, little flavor and inventiveness, but at least it is not the classic Belgian restaurant where every dish contains meat, so great for changing taste on the palate. To their advantage is the fact that the portion of the dishes was large and therefore they prepared a package for us to be able to take away the rest. Much appreciated because nothing is wasted! I would probably stay there again if I didn't find anything else around on a Saturday night in Ghent and if by chance I wanted a cozy environment with a nice atmosphere. Plus, they speak English, so a plus!

The chocolate cake and homemade ice creams are excellent. The location is cozy. The service was friendly and the prices were excellent. It is cash only. Get off the beaten path and try something different.

The food is good, not to expensive and both for vegetarians as for Belgian for lovers there's a good meal, accompanied by a wide range of beers or wine. All in all, it's definitely a recommendation!
