β β β β β Nice place just by the Gent Cathedral. Seating inside and outside was available. The staff were great. Only our meat was a bit dry.

β β β β β Good beer selection, kids can order a smaller portion of anything on the menu which is nice. We ordered the beef stew, which was good but the fries served along side were the shoestring type you get from Albert Heijn. The kids chicken was dry and bland. The kids mac and cheese was a big hit though, probably the best of all our meals.

Everything came delicious and in big portions.

β β β β β The Waterzooi fish stew was fairly good; the Stoverij was too plain, no vegetables in the beef stew and the salad was stale and no salad dressing. A bit touristy.

β β β β β Amazing food! A bit expensive but the portions were huge and the cost is normal for Belgium!! I would recommend it to everyone visiting Ghent!

β β β β β Quite a nice place, very cozy, they have good wine and beers. The waiters also speak English, which is definitely a plus. While you're waiting for your food, they bring a small bowl of snacks to go with the alcoholic drinks, which is really nice and thoughtful.

β β β β β Nice address located between the cathedral and the beffroi.
We were all pleased with our dishes. The restaurant offers simple dishes but also traditional Flanders ones.
The lady was the most welcoming and nice to our group. Since it was getting late and there were not that many customers, she agreed to split the check (apparently they usually ask for only one person to pay per table).
