C	Chris Curtis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We returned after a stay 3 years ago with high expectations, and they were met and exceeded. Love this place. Lovely rooms with high ceilings. There is a lift which services some rooms. Our room was up a flight of stairs, but the front desk staff lugged our heavy suitcases up for us. Enjoyed the relaxing by the fire with a drink in the evenings. Great restaurants neaby - 3 nights, 3 recommendations by front desk, 3 excellent meals.
R	RumannahP on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and quaint hotel. Lovely touches like a complimentary station (with lemonade, coffee, biscuits, etc), a courtyard, and many other gems. The reception staff are excellent and were extremely friendly and helpful with planning our day in the city. The location is good- close to some good eating spots and shops. The rooms are a bit small however, and the breakfast selection is very tiny (rather eat at a nearby cafe). Overall a lovely stay!!

I love the foyer and tiled reception area with the wood stove... Staff are charming and helpful. There's a 19th century elegance and proportion, great light, combined with 21st century ease/informality. Shutters in the rooms are an excellent feature that makes all the difference, aces the bathroom test too. This really is a great place to stay - even under Covid restrictions.

The staff was super professional, really very friendly, made us feel at home. The place was neat and clean, very high quality toileteries were provided. Out of all the countries in Europe I have travelled, this place is the most memorable, to the point where I want to go back to Brussels again not just for food but to stay here. They helped us with all our questions, living there for 5 days felt like so less that I wished I had my laptop and just could stay there for a month or so. Never had to tell them once about cleaning or anything and omg don't even get me started about their breakfast, the homemade style breakfast options, so much variety with the personal beautiful touch on the names and little drawings give extra attention to the detail. Not to mention the cute little croissants from the left over breakfast which you can access all day is the kind of service you won't get even from a 5 star hotel! The backyard with a jumbo big chess and the crazy artistic interiors are a pleasure to the eyes which make you want to order and sip your coffee near their reception area day and night.
