Bath dirty - price okay for what you get. Lights in the parking garage out of order so you need a flashlight…

My go to hotel when I'm in ostend. Lovely staff who remember you and make you feel welcome and like a friend. Great location for the beach and for the night life. I love the library! Any hotel with a library gets my vote anyway!

Just next to the Casino, very good location and the bed was very comfortable.

Name pretty misleading. Great need for the emperor to fund some renovation of rooms. Price is ok. So price in relation to value is fairly ok. First hotel ever were I have been asked to fetch the tv remote control while checking out, unless I want to be invoiced.... Huge difference in the service mindness amongst the personnel.

This morning I have been nearly agressed by the receptionist because "there is no breakfast due to COVID". The way this woman talk to me is not acceptable as a client". She didnt even accept me to leave my keys at the reception which is .. normally... the more normal and convenient thing in a hotel.. This is everything but correct. The place is old style but clean. Have to like small places.

The rooms are really tiny. The lift takes ages. BUT the hotel is very close to the beach and to different bars. The casino is also just a few minute walk away. Totally would recommend this hotel for a short weekend trip.

Most Terrible customer service, and I traveled 43 countries. We met 4 receptionists, all rude and made us feel unwelcome. We reserved a parking yet at our arrival it was not available, the receptionist told us “I’m the night receptionist, it’s not my mistake” and refused to give us a solution. We had to ask several time what alternative parking spots were available nearby, and at the end he just said “just go outside and you will see it”. I am also pregnant and he had the nerve to yell to a pregnant woman. The next day, probably afraid of the review I was going to give them, he told us he was going to give us a discount on one dog fee (we have 2), we thanked and thought it was a nice gesture, only to realize he has billed both. We also witness another customer having similar issues at check in for parking, only this time his car was too big to fit and they refused to reimburse since he reserved the parking. again receptionist couldn’t be bothered to explain to the customer that there was a public parking space nearby for only 3eur more per day. At check out, we have the key and another receptionist told us to go back to the room and get them back the remote. We were in a rush and we kindly asked if someone could get if for us as we were in a rush. She refused telling us we had to return the remote otherwise how would they know we didn’t steal it. Now consider, it is a 200eur per night hotel… do you think we would have stolen a remote??? Worst experience in ostend, not worth the price and this rudeness ruined our vacation. Please dont go there, for the same price you can get a better hotel or an Airbnb.

They wasn't kettle , coffee, tea bags eg in the room . A very basic room plus an extra cost for breakfast .
