They booked almost 400 Euros without notice claiming hidden costs we never agreed to. Car was in perfect condition and was given back even before the stipulated time. Save your money, look somewhere else.

I have all proofs on video and photo. I will apply for chargeback!!!! They scammers, I do not recomed to anyone!!! Be careful they made a transaction at 4 am and it was was offline transaction. They make negative balance on my card. Because if company work on offline they can do what they want and charge any amount. Will not trust them!!!! Fraud!!!! Rental number: 772184901

Afterwards we tried to get back the money from our insurance, but we needed some documents. Hertz did not reply anymore to our e-mails, the customer service number is out of service due to COVID so more than a month later we don't seem to know who to contact. Don't get the car here, you'll get scammed & customer service is not good.

Lack of minimal courtesy towards customers who must wait standing in the parking lot because Hertz set up shop in a barrack there. It took 30 min to rent a single car - when I asked how much longer it takes the lady gave me a cold look and said “When I am done serving this customer”. Forget this business, go to Sixt or Avis instead
M	Matteo Crespi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UGLY service!!! I booked a car today at 18:00 in Charleroi airport. At the Hertz Office at 18:00 there was NO ONE. There was an info on the glasses of the office to go at the Car Rental Parking. I was there with other customers: NO ONE of Hertz was there. We were calling the phone nr. of the agency but NO POSSIBILITY to talk to ANYONE. It is amazing. I spent more than 1 hour and a half to wait for someone of Hertz by NO ONE was there. THus every person there that had booked with Hertz had to find his own way to his business. I had to take a taxi. Tomorrow I will have to do the same because I have an important meeting early morning and I have to spend additional 100Euros to go to my meeting. And I think 200 euros to go to Brussel International Airport in the afternoon by taxi. This is unbelievable!!!

I should have been informed by your employees that I would be charged for an extra day being 48 minutes earlier at the counter. For that reason I was charged an extra day although the original reservation us for 3 days. As I was in a hurry i did not actually look at the receipt assuming i big company like hertz will honest to its customers. It seems the name has nothing to do "heart", but these are merciless scammers build on people's suffering! I was also of course not informed the office at Charleroi is closed on Sunday so I could not really return the car to an employee. Even though the car was returned hours before the actual booked return time i was still charged an extra day for coming 48 min earlier on pick up, a scam! As said the office was closed on Sunday... Extremely dishonest and cheap! Awfully misshandled by a rip off swindlers! Additionally they charged me twice the agreed price so I had to file another complaint with carrentals.com. Took me 3 months to get my money back! Never use! Never use unless you want to be charged double!!!
