★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They make it their mission to make sure that you are treated as poorly as possible without actually helping.
This includes:
- Endless menus and messages before you actually speak to a human being.
- When you finally get to speak to a human being, they barely speak the language.
- When you clearly point out you're next to a highway, they'll insist you provide a street name. The name of the highway doesn't work.
- After they waste 30 minutes of your time with providing all details of your car, including many that don't matter, they'll point out why they can't help you this time. Touring provides an exception for every situation.
- Being connected to multiple people who contradict each other.
With Touring, you either end up not being helped, or being forced to pay MORE than if you weren't insured and just called a private tow truck. Yes, you read that right. A private tow truck is AT LEAST 50% cheaper than using their tow truck using your actual insurance! How's that for being annoying? That's like causing 1000EUR of damage and being forced to pay 2000EUR because you have insurance.
If you like being tortured, give Touring a go. If not, get actual roadside assistance and join ADAC or VAB.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People on the phone are ok but management is rude and incompetent. I heard also that people working at Touring are under big stress. In my case I had 4 different people as contact. When asking what is going on a person admit they said that people are rotating regularly because of bad working conditions and stress and rude management.
