Quaint; more like a bed and breakfast then a hotel if that's what you're expecting. Cute courtyard and public space but the rooms themselves are a bit plain. Within walking distance to old town and on a bus route to the Central Station, which is a plus.

Rooms are small, old fashion and not the tiniest I have experienced. Breakfast is nice but does not justify an above 3-star rating. However I guess other places in the city are more expensive thus the good rating of other reviewer.

Wonderful small friendly hotel 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bruges along the canal. Very beautifully decorated , spotlessly clean & comfortable. Great breakfast included.

Really friendly and helpful staff. They speak many languages! The rooms are small but cosy and well equipped. Good lounge to relax and the breakfast is a real joy. It's located far from the hectic loud environment of the centre but at only 10 minutes walk.

Totally charmed first with excellent front desk staff, quiet wonderful room with great views, wonderful breakfast to helping us with our iPhone problem, close to great eats. We would like to keep this gem to ourselves but sharing is the only right thing to do. Highly recommend this charming hotel and will be back. Thank you again Hotel Ter Duinen.

The rooms are a bit small and in May, stuffy/overheated with windows that are awkward to open for ventilation (you can get cool air but only with a lot of roadside noise). The receptionist is wonderful though, going out of his way to make you feel welcome (even brought me a coffee while I was studying!). Beautiful lobby and sitting area. The down-sides are the lack of easily available food/drink inside the hotel itself and the weirdly dodgy elevator, which kept stalling randomly between floors. About a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre; a bit further to the train station. Pricier than it should be for what it is, but all things considered, it’s pleasant enough to consider staying again.

Really fantastic stay here. The owners and so gracious and lovely! The accommodated us as we had a car, they have 2 spare spaces behind the hotel but it does €18/night. Cheaper outside the centre. Rooms and great, very clean and modern, comparable to a 4* or more. And breakfast is great. 10walk to centre
