 Very interesting and varied collection with historical objects, but also with an eye for the Lier of today. Nice children's trail.

City Museum is fun for families with children, who on their own can follow the principle of how several things work or create, and learn about the history of the city and its surroundings ... In short, a beautiful museum in a pleasant city.

Една жена през цялото време ни помагаше да открием различните интерактивни игри и забавления и въпреки, че всичко беше на нидерландски, а ние говорим английски, тя не се отказа и ни помагаше постоянно. Служителите правят музея привлекателен
Small, compact, full of information. Very kind staff, very responsive. One woman helped us find the various interactive games and entertainment all the time, and although everything was in Dutch and we spoke English, she didn't give up and helped us all the time. The staff makes the museum attractive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vandaag het speciale "schapenvellekes" parcours voor baby's bezocht in het Stadsmuseum van Lier samen met mijn zoontje van zeven maanden. Een super fijn initiatief! We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Verspreid in het museum liggen enkele schapenvellekes met bijhorende speeldoos voor baby's of peuters/kleuters. In de dozen zitten muziekjes, stofjes om aan te voelen, speeltjes... Mijn zoontje vond het heel plezant (en ik ook) ? Je bent nooit te jong voor wat cultuur ☺
Visited the special "sheep skins" trail for babies in the City Museum of Lier today with my seven-month-old son. A very nice initiative! We were received very friendly. Scattered in the museum are a few sheepskins with accompanying music box for babies or toddlers/preschoolers. The boxes contain music, fabrics to feel, toys... My son loved it (and so did I) ? You're never too young for some culture ☺

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend the city museum of Lier! IT is not very big, but it is very interactive. The museum is modern and interesting, detailing the history of the city, but also highlighting those living there now. It was fun to partake in medieval darts and other traditional games, to learn about old handicrafts and to understand more about the industrial history in the area. Highly recommend!
