Slechtste bezoek aan een restaurant ooit. Mijn familie komt hier al meer als 35 jaar, altijd uren blijven zitten met kinderen en baby’s maar vandaag kwam ik met mijn vriend en dochter (Afrikaans) en ineens was niets goed, bij aankomst geen fatsoenlijke plaats aangewezen waar de buggy kon staan (terwijl dit aangegeven was bij het reserveren en geen probleem wou zijn) toen ik vroeg voor een goede plaats schoof ze gewoon de buggy (wel voorzichtig) in een hoekje en mijn dochter zat half onder tafel. Ben gaan zitten en heb de tafel gewoon een beetje verschoven omdat ik niet te moeilijk wou doen. Dan gegeten allemaal wel heel lekker! Maar om 10 voor 8 (waren er nog geen 2 uur) kregen we verwijten naar ons hoofd geslingerd dat we veel te lang bleven, niet na 8 u moeten buiten komen met ons kind, hun van hun werk hielden omdat ze geen geluid durfde te maken, dat we geen uren moeten blijven zitten als we maar 30 euro uitgeven (rekening was 40 euro maar goed) enzovoort, enzovoort. 10 minuten staan roepen tot m’n dochter wakker werd en mij de tranen in de ogen stonden. nooit kom ik hier nog terug. Familie traditie of niet. Call me crazy maar heeft heb het gevoel dat dit iets te maken heeft met mijn Afrikaanse familie? En zo niet, nog steeds ENORM SLECHTE ERVARING!

Het is altijd gaaf om hier te komen. Al weet ik vaak niet wat ik hier kon doen. Het trekt wel op één of andere manier. Welzijn van de plaats. Ik zei de magie juist. Voor juist moeten,, komma komma komma komma,

Review is updated 11.04.2022 after the cafe's feedback: I visited the place on Saturday, 5th of March. Receipt is attached. I am giving the place now 1 star (!) instead of 2 starts. The customer service is impolite. Instead of apologizing, offering a refund or to send me flowers or a small complement, the staff member replied in Flemish without greeting me or at least saying "hello". The staff member just pointed out that they are closed on some dates. This is not my fault that they use a different date format. As a proof, I am attaching the receipt. Never visit this place!! I visited this place on the 3rd of March 2022, and not sure I will come here again. The food was OK, wine was below average, and overpriced for such a place and location. Just one glass of simple wine costs 5.80 EUR - I find it too high for a simple Chinese café. But in any case, this is their policy, and I am OK with it. What surprised me more was that the waitress charged me 2.80 EUR (!) for a cup of hot water. I ordered a small teapot of green tea, which you can typically use 6-7 times. In addition, when I asked to add more hot water to the cup, the waitress didn’t tell me that it would cost 2.80 EUR. I have traveled a lot and have never faced such service and additional costs. Maybe Antwerp’s suburb is sometimes special. ? Moreover, when it was time to pay, there were 2 cokes instead of one. Magic! We had to point out the mistake, but the waiter even didn’t apologize. Please be careful and think twice before dining at this place. If the team tries to cheat on such small things, maybe they can do some tricky stuff with food as well?! I made this assumption purely based on facts and my own experience. Happy if you have the opposite!
