E	Eric Bokken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superbe point de vue mérite après les escaliers de Bueren. Un souvenir pour nos héros et particulièrement le 14 régiment de forteresse dont peu se souviennent. Les honneurs des Régiments de forteresse n'ont pas été repris vu l'évolution de nos armées...mais leur souvenir doit rester. A voir car le fort est très bien conservé et la vue sur notre magnifique ville de Liège est superbe... Superb point of view deserves after the stairs of Bueren. A memory for our heroes and especially the 14 Fortress Regiment which few remember. The honors of the Fortress Regiments have not been resumed given the evolution of our armies ... but their memory must remain. To see because the fort is very well preserved and the view of our magnificent city of Liège is superb ...

N'hésitez pas à vous rendre vers les sentiers de promenade en vous éloignant du monument. Celui ci se trouvera a votre droite au point de vue en acier.. empruntez l'escalier et suivez le sentier rouge a travers bois pour vous retrouver tout en contrebas dans le centre de Liège. To have ! The view is magnificent! And we discover a very large panaroma in clear weather. Do not hesitate to go to the walking paths away from the monument. This one will be on your right from the steel point of view. Take the stairs and follow the red path through the woods to find yourself below in the center of Liège.

This monument stands in tribute to the 14th Line Regiment of the Belgian army that fought in World War one. The monument was designed by sculptor Edmond Falise and can be found at the foot of the citadel of Liege, just after you climb the Montagne de Bueren. The monument is shaped like a rectangular obelisk with a wall of honour near the base. The front of the monument has a bas-relief sculpture of an angel, while the back depicts scenes of battles and soldiers, along with a dedication (in French). The monument is not a must see, but if you do make it up, there are some fantastic views of Liege below.
