Staff was happy and swift to accomodate last minute changes which had occured in the planning. The food was delicious and service was great. 5/5 recommendation!

The desert was excellent being light and airy without being overly sweet. Loved the staff that was very friendly and made you feel at home

But service was quite slow even though we were the first few tables to arrive. A little on the pricey side but worth the splurge for a special occasion.

Unfortunately my steak was served medium, if not border to well done, although I requested to have it rare. My male company felt his portion was a bit small. Staff was very friendly but rather slow. After dessert and coffe and the thought "let's pay" crossed out mind, it took almost 15 minutes before we managed to get the staffs attention, and this is despite that we were approaching closing hour already... Loved the pear, ice-cream and vanilla crumble dessert.

The desserts were very nice, with some classics like the dame blanche and some other seasonal options. Portions are ok, the staff is nice and the place is classy yet cozy. You can choose between normal and high tables if you like tall chairs.
P	Piet Pollet on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and excellent food with very friendly staff. I visit Le Mess several times per year and consistently leave satisfied. Only minor negative point is on two occasions during busy days having the wine arrive after the main course. The restaurant however immediately offered to refund the wine.

Positive points: - great menu, fresh and delicious food - the vegetarian options have a lot of taste - great atmosphere, very clean and welcoming - staff is very nice To be improved: - the waitress was not able to advise us on wines. Not dramatic, but could be a nice plus if one really did not know anything about wine - the carpaccio of scallops was amazing but if possible, it would be even nicer if the slices of scallop were thinner - as soon as we ordered we receive our aperitif, and 5 min later, our wine. It would be nicer to wait a bit, even in term of food timing, that the aperitifs are almost finished before starting to serve the starters and main. We’ll definitely be back though!
