S	Shane J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location... terrible rooms. If all you need is a bed after 12 pints this place is ideal. If your looking for cleanliness, look else where. We booked his place last minute and the images online looked ok... in reality they must of been taken 10 years ago. A tiny room, with an asking shower room that you would expect to find on a budget cruise ship, a cracked sink tops this area off. On the plus side, the location is very good, a 5 minute walk to the square and the staff are very friendly and helpful for the most part. We didn't use the restraunt as there is too much choice from the front door. All in all I would say I've stayed in better 2 star hotels.

F	F N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice breakfast, but shabby rooms, super loud bars underneath (not the hotels fault to be fair) that were very loud till about 4am (Sat night), and I saw an adult bed bug on my mattress in the morning. Given that other reviews have mentioned bed bugs, and old mattresses, management don't seem to have done anything effective about this.
R	Rochelle Untinen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small room, windows didn't close all the way. Very rude check in. Asked for an extra pillow as I'm pregnant and had a cold and wanted to be propped up a little. I was given attitude and told that was a special request I should have emailed them about beforehand. Did not get a pillow which is unfortunate because the one in the room was so thin and lumpy. I ended up using a bunched up sweater instead. The location was perfect though and the mattress itself was comfortable. Bathroom was small but fine. Very clean

We had to open the window as the room was very hot, and so had to suffer through some techno music till very late at night. The room size was good, but it wasn't very clean. The bathroom was okayish. Good breakfast. All in all, a mixed experience for a very low price. For next time, I'd consider shelling out some extra money to stay at a better place.

R	R J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful stay at Lace Hotel. The room was spotless and the bathroom large and clean. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. There is some noise overnight from people leaving nearby bars etc but that's expected in a busy central location but didn't spoil our stay. Included in our stay was a tasty and fresh continental breakfast. Would definitely return and stay again.
