★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy rooms and good beds. However it's more of a b&b than hotel. Single pane windows in the hall make the rooms very noisy, bathrooms are not well maintained (you cannot take a shower without flooding the bathroom) and ceilings are uncomfortably low. No aircon. Mixed feelings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's mostly a place for a superb romantic escapade and I was on a business trip so I felt awkwardly alien. But the room was great and breakfast the best I've had in a long time. To revisit with the missus if we ever go to Belgium together.

The breakfast is continental but has a fabulous choice, everything, from cheese, meats bread and pastries to omelettes, fruits and yogurt at 15€ each. The evening meal is haute cuisine and the price reflects that, look at the menu before booking a table. Well worth the expense

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming boutique hotel in Rochefort that I would recommend friends and family. I would have liked to stay for more nights just to spend time at the hotel.
The hotel has a great concept and vibe; the rooms are nice and clean and guests are given bathrobes for the small indoor pool and saunas (steam and dry).
Getting to the room from the reception required you to walk through quirky tunnels and wine cellars. It's part of the charm. I spend many nights per year in standard hotels so I really enjoyed it.
Fully stocked bar, quality breakfast with personal service at the table for hot food and more.
Friendly and service minded staff and a good location in a charming building that is different, in a good way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful historic hotel with a large green garden with lounge salons. Very nice decorated. Good parking place at backside. Small rooms, but clean and neat and with good beds. Super staff! We had a large menu dinner with wine. Fantastic food served with elegance and grace. Our group of 6 persons are super happy with everything. We will come back! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice hotel in the centre of Rochefort. In close proximity of a lot of restaurants.
The bar and terras are lovely, and the interior is beautiful. Private parking at the backside of the hotel.
Staff was very professional and friendly. The suite we rented was a bit smaller than expected but very clean.
Airconditioning or ventilation would be nice since the rooms could be hot in summer. Keep that in mind when booking a room in warm weather, to specifically ask one NOT under the roof.
A sauna and swimming pool are also available till 8 o'clock. All in all a nice place if a bit expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nicely decorated lobby and the garden looks like a wonderful space to relax on warm days. However, disappointed with the breakfast experience. Guests have to collect their own breakfast from reception and walk to the other side of the hotel where the coffee machine is, and then take everything up to the room. Paper plates and cutlery do not leave a good impression. I also asked for vegan/vegetarian options when booking bit the hotel made no effort to accommodate my request. All in all I found this hotel over-rated and over-priced.

I know very well this place, because i have been there many many times;
I was happy to go there due to the past times where it was charming.
Because of the wish to gain money, the transformation of the nice small hotel to differnet hotel from differnet style bring a bad service and bad image.
I was really dissapointed to discover the room i booked , was in an other place, an other hotel equivalent to a one star hotel, with a smoking room , noisy, not clean,,, !!!
A real disaster !!
