C	Chris Wedderburn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked last minute but nothing seemed to be too much trouble for our hostess, who sorted out our parking, and took the time to direct us to some of Bruges hidden gems. The building is lovely, and our room was small but perfect for our needs. Breakfast is recommended too. We would definately recommend the Gulden Vlies and will definately be coming back.

Venue is a typical Belgian house with extremely adorable area for breakfast. Breakfast itself is fabulous! Even though our room had squeaky bed and bathroom behind wooden wardrobe door, we really enjoyed the stay in there:)

Big comfortable beds. Clean, modern bathroom, although quite small. We had a room to the back of the house, thus it was very quite. The walls to the neighbour rooms are thin. Tasty breakfast.

She gave us lots of tips on where to park, where to go to grab a drink etc. Breakfast was nice as well, we had plenty to choose from. The room was a bit outdated and could use a fresh layer of paint, but it was clean and the beds were lovely, I slept really well both nights. It's a 10/15 min walk to the city center and there is a bus stop close by. I'll have no problem returning here if I need a place to stay in Burges.

It's an old building and super tiny in the inside. The common areas are decorated lovely. The room we stayed in was a very simple but clean. We felt comfortable and had a great time. Thanks a lot for a great Bruges experience!

It is about a 15-min walk to the city center. The host (Fleur) was so friendly/wonderful, provides great recommendations on places to visit, and bakes amazing fresh bread every morning! The breakfast selection was perfect and was served at our table. The customer service was wonderful; we couldn’t have asked for a better host!! Highly recommend Hotel Gulden Vlies if you decide to visit for a weekend. Breakfast is included in the price and you can request parking (in a lot across the street) for an additional cost. It is worth the convenience. Recommend booking directly with her through the hotels website; it’s been hard on so many businesses during covid. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as our family did.
