★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel has two very big pluspoints; Great location and very cheap. I paid only 60 euro for one night including breakfast. It is only normal that you will not get top quality. Is that bad? Well there are some downsides. My room was very hot (no airco of course), and a bit muffy. Don't look too much at the rusty interior, and the holes in the ceiling. The TV had a bad connection, but who cares, and the shower was cold only. The shower cabin door didn't close well, causing a small flood in the tiny bathroom. But these are all small inconveniences. Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff is very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Filthy, dingy, funky, balcony door off the hinge, carpet full of cigarette burns, balcony littered with cigarette buds, could hear every silent discussion in the corridor, cable not paid, shower drain clogged. Staff is friendly and they have a good deal with a taxi to the airport. Not a saving grace though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My only complaint was price. It's an older hotel but it's clean (sheets). Carpet is worn but so what. Bathroom was well stocked. Hot water was resolved by the morning. Check in staff was friendly and polite. Elevator is tiny but it works and you can get your luggage upstairs. Centrally located. Quick walk to food, bars, etc. I just felt what we paid too much for what it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the hotel sign flashes outside your window that sort of tells the quality. Noisy main street but 50 euros (payable in cash) for a one star bed for a night in central Brussels is fair. 24x7 front desk makes you feel safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bad: No closet to leave your clothes, only a hanger. Only one power outlet in the room, other one is in the bathroom so I had to charge my phone there. Beds separate easily so you have a hole in between the mattresses. You can hear everything from the hallway through the door.
The good: the location is great, near Parc du Cinquantenaire and the metro station is in front of the hotel. There's a balcony with a nice view of the avenue. The room is warm and clean. The breakfast is ok. The staff is nice and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was good. Location is great. Staff was very sweet. Breakfast was ok.. could have a few more things. Coffee machine is good. Room doors are listen through. Bathroom tub could use curtains as when you shower the whole bathroom is wet and no water exit.
Overall good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front desk staff were always polite and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with a train, metro and tram stop just outside. It's also within walking distance of the European Quarter. The hotel itself is a little cramped and ropey but the rooms were clean and everything worked. All in all, a good value hotel.
