Great location and very professional welcome but disappointed on a few points: the room because it was far too hot as the hot water pipes run through it and the air con wasn’t operational. Also, the curtains weren’t thick enough to block the sunlight in the morning and the other room/hall doors banging woke us up. The breakfast quality wasn’t great. Finally, we were lucky to find a free parking spot because it was Sunday, in front the hotel but the hotel doesn’t actually have their own parking, as they suggest in Booking.com.

Well located ,well connected. Nice service and friendly staff. Clean and maintained. Mediocre included breakfast and poor room lighting.

Very satisfying. Though under renovation, we were never bothered. Kindly treated. There is something I would like to ask from guests though, since they are staying at a non smoking hotel. Please don't smoke in the room. Respect the next......

When we think 3 star hotel we pray for sometimes a few extra bonuses that almost give the impression it’s a 4 star hotel. Hotel chambord goes for the opposite approach. Staff are overall very kind and approachable. The lobby is quite basic is not practical for any sort of meeting. The lift is updated. Maximum 3 persons and the doors need to be opened manually. Upon getting to my floor there is a powerful odeur of cannabis. It’s unpleasant but thankfully it stays in the hallway. Onto the room! It’s bang average. The bathtub is plastic so sometimes the plastic caves in and your freak out for a second. Amenities are at the bare minimum. And in my case the shower gel was empty upon entering the room (please check these cleaning staff). Hot water is hard to get as well for your shower. The table chair was stained, and the lighting is quite odd, it’s suited more towards a museum display than a room. In the morning no need for an alarm clock as the upstairs construction work will do just fine! 8am ?. The positive of the room is that the bed is decent but again I found hairs in my sheets from a past customer. In the morning the breakfast “buffet” was set. Great! I thought. And again, it’s bang average. Coffee out of a machine. Juice out of a machine. Bacon that simply is not good and scrambled eggs that are stall tasting. I’m really not picky but in the end I just had one little pain au chocolat 1 slice of bacon and a mouthful of eggs. PLENTY! I’ll save my hunger for another time. All in all it seems like I am only complaining but I want to point out WHY this is a 3 star hotel. It’s just BANG average. Do go hoping for little perks. 6/10 +Bed +Location +Staff -Cleanliness -Bathroom -Outdated items -Breakfast

Other reviewers rightly pointed out that there's only one small, old and tired elevator for 7 floors of rooms. But I had a positive (and healthy) stay here. The front staff are incredibly nice, allowing me to work in a quiet nook after I checked out. And it's central in the city, walking distance to the EU, museums and the central train station.

Wi-fi very bad ? Everything else is very nice. The view from the terrace of the room on the sixth floor is excellent! The maid cleans the room and changes the towels every day. The dining room is spacious, with a beautiful view of the square.

Not compliant with covid health and safety measures. Guests walking freely with no masks around the hotel premises. Going out for smoke and walking back in with no mask. And specially at breakfast when standing up around the food buffet, talking and spitting over everyone else's food. I have advised the reception that told me they would take care of it. Nothing was done. Each day more and more people were comfortable enough not to wear any maks and staff said nothing. There was a vomit at the stairs during the night and the whole morning one day. Only cleaned up in the afternoon. Makes me wonder if the hotel is compliant at all with any health measure. And that's only what I saw. WiFi doesn't work. Location is good.
