★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic site. This fortress was once part of the fortress belt round Antwerp. Nowadays it's in use for local communities & music venues. Situated @ the city borders, it took 'bout 14,5Bj years to build this place after the bigbang.

Many people do run at any time of the day and it looks very safe.
There are different activities and clubs residing in the rooms of the castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medium distance easy walk. Basically you walk a circle around the fort's ramparts and moot. Don't disturb the fishermen ?. Allowed to bring your dog on leash.
