★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful sprawling park in Deurne, Antwerp. It’s Antwerp’s biggest park with several bodies of water, patches of forest, lush lawns and numerous bike lanes and walking paths. It provides a backdrop for virtually any form of leisure activity like playing football, tennis, badminton, jogging, walking your pet or just reading a book. In summer, theatre and music draws throngs of people to the park for the open air concerts. Beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice big park with variety of beauties: trees, and more wild trees-forests, lakes, nice architectures, flower gardens, maze, grass land, play ground, event center. Visiting different parts of the park at different time of the year brings different experience. Late March and Early April is best for seeing cherry blossoms at Sterckshof, May is best for seeing Rhododendron at the areas on the west part of the park near the Prieel Rivierenhof. June/July is best for seeing the roses at rose garden. The other plants in rose garden keep blooming in July/August include Marigolds, Cranesbills and Phloxes with all sorts of colors: red, orange, yellow, gold, purples and pink... Rich vision enjoyment. It is a park we keep going back time by time.
