It’s the first time, I am writing a review for a restaurant . Normally, a restaurant hardly amazes me enough to spend any effort to write a review. Almost all the times either one (sometimes even all 3) of the taste, price and nutrition is compromised. But it changed with Fitchen, I think it has been the best I have seen yet in terms of these parameters. Hawaian Poke bowl is decent in that sense too but Fitchen definitely beats it. The food there is packed with much more nutrition and is somewhat less expensive. Taste wise, Fitchen is very good but I found Hawaian Poke bowl a bit better.
However, where Fitchen scores a lot more points is the availability of multiple vegetarian and vegan options in their menu. It really feels like they have catered to vegetarian/vegan people instead of just giving one vegetarian option like most other restaurants do. I also noticed that the base of their take away box is 100% compostable so more cool points!
All in all, I can see myself going there very regularly. I am very happy to have them in Leuven as now I can eat something good instead of eating overpriced and nutrition-less pizzas while ordering food on an evening.

Somehow, even though that it was packed on the Meir, this place was empty.
Design looks pretty active and the concept is nice.
But when it comes to the food, this is way too expensive. 7,99€ for a very small wrap is just way too much. Taste was ok, but definitely nothing special.
I prefer to go to Foodmaker on the Meir, where for 7,99€, you get a lot and quality food.
