Opgegroeid in Venezuela, genoot Chef Moisés Díaz een eerste opleiding in "High Training Educational Institute, HTEI, Caracas" in de traditionele Franse keuken. Gebeten door de wereld van gastronomie en op zoek naar verdere professionele ontwikkeling, ging hij studeren in het "Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia, IAG" in Argentinië. Daarna had hij de kans om mee te werken aan het succes van het befaamde restaurant Mirazur; in 2019 verkozen tot beste restaurant ter wereld. Hier ontwikkelde hij zijn interesse voor patisserie die hem later tot in "École Lenôtre" in Parijs bracht. Op Belgische bodem staan al enkele gastronomische restaurants op zijn palmares; La villa Lorraine, 'T Zilte en Kommilfoo. In 2017 begon hij samen met zijn Belgische echtgenote Sofie Vanhaeren, zijn eigen restaurant in de Volkstraat. In A'Sur restaurant kan je in beide menu's zijn internationale ervaring proeven.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience ! Food and drinks were delicious. I had a perfect pineapple daiquiri. We had a 5 courses menu with some wine recommendations from the owners. It’s really great they have their own sourdough bread which was so yummy! Would definitely recommend.
