Got to the station early because of a train strike, not knowing whether we would have been able to get to the eurostar terminal if we had left later. Refused to change tickets for a non-extortionate price despite the train not being sold out and leaving in 40 minutes. Would have been willing to pay the standard change of train price, but couldn't afford the ridiculous £354 they wanted to charge. Same day flights cost less. Train out was delayed by nearly an hour without apology, I don't expect a refund but a complementary water might have been nice. Had dirty seats with food still down the side. If you're going to be charging such ridiculous amounts for travel you can surely pay your cleaning staff enough to do a half decent job.

Great service and punctuality UK side, terrible Brussels side. No complaints for the UK. Brussels; the automated passport gates don’t work properly, only one X-ray machine in operation, and departure time late with no information. It was all ok on the actual train, comfortable and clean.

Save your money and find a different way to travel. Trains get cancelled all the time. Currently sitting on the floor waiting for the next train in 2.5 hours. They give £5 voucher for the wait, don’t think that’s enough for a sandwich and a cup of tea. No WiFi anywhere in the Brussels train station. Is this a joke?

Check in process was very easy for the train. The ticket price was also low if you pay in advance. The missing stars are for the lag of enough room. You couldn’t get something out of your bag above your seat, when somebody is sitting next to you. Also the things you want to have can’t all be placed on the pallet.

Train was delayed for 2h+ and got a very reduced partial refund! Had payed for upgrade and got a very bad/minimal box with food during travel. Very disappointed as my experience with Eurostar up to this point had been always with great standards…
