Complete rip-off. My gas and electric bill is over 200 euro per month!!! Their online estimates said it would be about 30 per month... Do not trust this company!

Horrible supplier, who lures you in with cheap tariffs and then tries to take as much of your money by shady and vague clauses.

I switched to this supplier after a group purchase auction organized by the Willebroek town. According to their calculations, as well as to the final offer, I would save 371 euro per year, representing a reduction of a bit more of 20% with respect to my previous supplier. My surprise came when I received my first invoice, which was about 6% *higher* than with my previous supplier. In other words: not only is was not the promised saving, not even a saving, it was costing me more money! After a short exchange of e-mails, they acknowledged a mistake from their part and agreed to settle further invoices to the amount of original offer if I paid the two first months at the higher rate (!!!) which I naively did. The third month I got again an invoice for the same, excessive amount. Only that this time they did not respond to any e-mail I sent, and when I called to ask about the problem they switched me to a line where nobody picked up the phone while the meter was running for me. The "we call you back" slogan that they display on their web page is just a lie: they won't call you back. At that moment I decided to switch back to my previous supplier and to write a letter to the town of Willebroek warning them about Mega practices and recommending to stay away from this company in future group purchase auctions. Bottom line: don't go for this company, they cheat you and they cannot keep their own promises! And their customer support leaves a lot to be desired. Judging by the amount of negative reviews, I can see that I'm not the only one affected by their customer-unfriendly practices; I guess I should have done some research first...

HORRIBLE LAYING AND STEALING COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. IGNORANT HANDLING OF CUSTOMER ISSUES. Do yourself good NEVER USE MEGA! The claimed cheap rates is fake! You will be charged a high deposit fee every month. Most likely you won't be refunded! And if you change address and decide to take them with you prepare to pay double! - Poor to none customer support - NOT CHEAP - NOT GREEN ENERGY - they buy it from other energy producers - They operate in a manner that is 100% beneficial for them and will do all to say that the customer has done everything wrong.

Mega has officially been condemend for cheating its clients for years "Des pratiques déloyales et trompeuses : Le fournisseur d'énergie Mega pointé du doigt par l'inspection économique." No refund to the customers they cheated. According to other reviews, Mega gives 25kwh for a 5 star review. Not sure that is the best way to regain a good reputation.

Try and avoid this company!!! I was billed 48 EUR per quarter, which was nice and cheap and at the end of the year I had to pay an additional 100 EUR, which wasnt a problem. But my last bill I received they charged almost 500 EUR for a quarter. I checked the electricity usage on the bill and day and night was almost 10 times as much as it originally was. They increased my usage for about 10-12 apartments. I double checked my electricity usage and it was nowhere near it. I wrote an email saying I needed a refund and a change. Got a short answer that it wasnt possible anymore and I can say goodbye to my 500 EUR and they could only change it back to EUR 48. They also mentioned it was an automatic change which I highly doubt. Total scam company !!

Do not use Mega as your energy provider. They are not transparent at all and you will receive settlement bills that can be up to over double the amount that your original estimation was based on. I will never ever be using them again. I hope other people read these reviews, because if I would have seen the amount of reviews on Google saying that this is a dishonest company before I would have signed, I never would have signed up to them in the first place.

Total scammers, have pumped up my provisional fixed bills by 45% even though as of this year i'm producing 70% of my electricity via solar. Its been a nightmare trying to get them to bring my payments back down. I'm presuming when I leave them in MArch 22 i'll have a nightmare trying to get my money back. Stay away from this scam company
