m	matt levin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We Rented two bikes for the day 8 Euro each and had a beautiful cycle along a bike path that follows the canal heading out of town. it was perfect. I'm confused by the review by Nik below. Our experience was exactly the opposite. The owner was very patient and really friendly. We spent a long time there looking at all the bike bags while the owner worked in his shop on the back. He adjusted my wife's bike 3 times before we left. Highly recommended.

C	Corinne André on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popelier bicycle rental on Mariastraat did not survive the Corona crisis, but in summer 2021 De Ketting is open for business. Not only a rental, also a nice bicycle & repair shop. I called at 10 am to hire 4 bicycles at 11 am. Very friendly owner, bicycles in excellent shape, super rate of €10 per day per bicycle, including saddle bags and locks. Professionally adjusted to our body sizes in no time. We took the ride along the canal to Damme, about 30‘ to 45‘ away from De Ketting, then toured the city of Brugge. We can recommend, bicycles are the best way to move around in Brugge and surroundings, if you do not wish to limit yourself to the city center.

He was super accommodating, the bikes were new and nice, I even had little bags on it for all that Brugge chicken and bread I couldn't stop buying. I have been to Brugge many times, and I have clearly been making a mistake by renting from somewhere else, but I won't be making that mistake again. I miss my trusty steed already!!! If you are on the fence about getting a bike to see the city, DO IT. I promise you it will change your trip. Love from California and Utah!
