β β β β β It was my first Japanese Curry and it didnβt disappoint! Food was really good (Chicken Katsu), friendly and helpfull staff, and nice place to eat in. You can chose the spiciness of your dish. I had the medium spicy option, and as a spicy eater I could easily handle it, so next time will go for the most spicy option.

β β β β β Very good price, certainly for the quantity you get!
The sauce is pretty good also, and the place looks very appetising. On the downside, the meat is not exactly authentic.

β β β β β Everything was perfect. The ebi katsu tasted buttery, exactly just like what I tasted in Japan. I love the chicken katsu so much,it was juicy and crispy. I could taste that they uses Japanese rice. So they successfully bring over Japanese curry to Gent.
We can pick the spiciness level and I chose the spiciest one (karai). As an Asian,it wasnβt spicy enough for me. But itβs understandable.
Extra point for the friendly staffs!

β β β β β Probably the last thing I expected to find when visiting Gent was a restaurant specializing in my favorite Japanese comfort food, and especially not just a few steps from my hotel! I arrived shortly after opening only to find they were fully booked, but the owner checked the time and said for one person I probably had time to eat before the reservation arrived (thank you ?).
The tonkatsu was perfectly fried, and the rice was just right. The flavor on the curry was just as I remember in Japan, and the spice was enough to open the sinuses but not so hot as to overpower the curry flavors (I got "hot"). The only thing I found surprising (but not unwelcome) was peas in the curry, in addition to the typical potatoes/carrots I'm used to seeing.
Friendly staff/owner, food served quickly, and delicious.
