β β β β β Ordered shoyu ramen and it was so good. Taste so original and made me feel like I was in Japan.

β β β β β We ordered take out through a delivery service, and the driver cancelled the order after picking it up, basically stealing our food. Mathias, the manager, called me promptly, apologized and explained. He even made a second order and sent it over to us even though it was not the restaurant's responsibility to do so. Thank you so much for your excellent service! The food was fantastic as well!

β β β β β Their ramen reminded me of my home country, Japan. I love Gyoza soI ordered it but unfortunately it was not homemade. It was 8 euro for 5 pieces and I found it expensive for the one not made by themselves.
I appreciated their strict measure against COVID-19.
We will definitely go back there, though!

β β β β β A very nice ramen in place; maybe the best one in Ghent? (I've tried all of them!)
The soup base is especially amazing (especially the shoyu one; the miso is very good too, albeit a tiny bit too sweet and a too dense).
The noodles are fresh and pleasantly shewy, and cooked just enough!
The other ingredients are fine, although nothing to write home about. (the meat is large, but doesn't have much taste).
Decoration wise it's the one coming closest to the real Japanese thing - in Ghent.
All together a very good ramen!

β β β β β This is as real as it gets! Only staying 1.5 days in Ghent and this was on our top 5 things to do... So worth it. We've had ramen in many cities worldwide, including Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Wow, real hand made fresh noodles, with a perfect broth. Zuru Zuru is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a slurping sound, and that's exactly what we did.
Nick, the owner, is so passionate about his ramen. Japanese customers apparently come from Paris, Dusseldorf and other places to eat his dishes. Then you just know.
My sons had lovely chats with the staff too, such a great vibe.

β β β β β Well. It's not bad but not authentic ramen. There is a better place to go in Ghent. But what I didn't like is waiting. Not waiting for a table but even then, when almost nobody was in the restaurant, the preparation took too long. But it's understandable as it's really not authentic. The popularity probably roots in something else which remained hidden to me.

β β β β β Possibly the most authentic ramen in Belgium (according to my Japanese colleague) and certainly the tastiest I have ever tried.
Very friendly and attentative staff.
Will be going back again to attempt the level 5 spicy ramen.
