★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gross, feels like taking a train in Soviet Russia, full of hooligans, puke and bad smells, the new hall is nice but that's about it. Makes me want to buy a car immediately so I never have to take a train here again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this station is horrible and scary. be careful of your belongings there are a lot people sitting and taking spaces who are not going to take any bus or train. the city is nice but it’s getting very scary

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outside it looks great, but inside are many strange people. It’s good point for traveling, board with train departures and arrivals is well-arranged. The shops inside aren’t good, but if you absolutely need something, it should be enough for you... :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brussels North is my least favorite transit train station in Brussels. The architecture isn't very impressive, it's situated near a sketchy red light neighborhood if you take the wrong exit and except for the spacious main hall it's drab. The neighbouring CTC-tower is closed for the moment (and this is where you could get a quick bite in KFC and other fast food establishments). It's also the train station you want to avoid the most late at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is big, certain places not clean enough, as homeless or paperless people take refuge in there , especially the nights. But none of them have ever bothered me, except one man with a child asking for money. I did not have anything to give. He went further, without cursing me or being angry. But in the night time I would not feel safe around the station.
