★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in Vilvoorde To see the Tyndale monument, on our way to Antwerp. We thought we’d get some lunch before heading back into the car and noticed Brassiere Franklin, where found home-cooked Traditional food, which was good value and very friendly staff. The waiter noticed me outside trying to understand the menu (using google translate) and offered to translate the dishes for me. I went with his recommendation of the stoofvlees (Flemish beef stew) which was delicious. The croquettes were also very good.
