★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is one of our favorites - great food, and great staff. Also, it has a unique characteristic of being either formal or informal - it's your choice. The menu isn't so large, but the presentation and tastes are excellent. On cold days, we love the fireplace in the center of the dining area. When the weather permits, we love the opportunity to relax in the courtyard. The history of this place is also important, as well, so be sure to study it ... and before leaving, don't forget to ask for day-old bread to feed the deer.
