★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer lange wachttijden. Wanneer u een afspraak heeft om 8u 's morgens, kunnen de wachttijden oplopen tot 3 à 4 uur. Dit omwille van een totaal gebrek aan organisatie, men geeft namelijk honderd patiënten een afspraak op hetzelfde uur.
Oncomfortabele zitplaatsen. Geen drank- of voedingsautomaten op de afdeling.
Kortom men behandeldt de patiënt letterlijk als een nummer, absoluut geen goede dienstverlening in het belang van de patiënten.
 Very long waiting times. If you have an appointment at 8 a.m., waiting times can be up to 3 to 4 hours. This is because of a total lack of organization, because one gives 100 patients an appointment at the same time.
Uncomfortable seats. No drinks or food vending machines in the department.
In short, the patient is literally treated as a number, absolutely not a good service in the interest of the patients.

>2 hours of waiting as there were still 10 people ahead of me on arrival, and this after arriving nicely on time. Shows little respect for patients' time.

An 18 years hold young adult, in her 1st year of studies in KU leuven unfortunately got an infection and following the instruction of the international health insurance attended this place (not appropriate to call it an hospital or whatever related to human care). Nobody waiting when she arrived and after 3 hours she was still waiting to be seen by the doctor. During this wating time she saw how new arrivals comming after her passed after her and was seen within a razonable period of time. From 2 thousand kilometers distance we tried to help calling the insurance company which called the hospital askinf for her to be seen by a doctor. The insurance company called her with the good news - she wiill be seen by a doctor soon. After receiving this news, she approach the reception and was said that "she didn't like to wait"!!!! again an interminable waiting time until she definetly gave up after 4 hours FOUR HOURS waiting to be seen in an hospital just 30 min distance from what is supposed to be the capital of Europe. Someone should review the way people is being treated in this place and why it is happening the way it happens.
