★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, Willy Vanilli always has been unfortunate to be located on the Mastplein, a parking space in the center of Wilrijk instead of the city centre. This means that it doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
The place serves some of the best chocolate ice-cream in the business, ice-cream that won an Italian Gelato award for best chocolate ice cream in 1998, as well as many other home-made flavors of ice-cream and sorbet.
The shop itself is run by a very friendly couple with a passion for ice-cream and has a quaint terrace as well for some peace and quiet. If you ever find that you've overshot your destination on Line 17, stay on the bus until 'Bist' and pass by. You won't regret the ice cream you had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After receiving their famous “Bol box” ( a box with a selection of different flavors) from a friend, I discovered this ice cream parlor. It is very refreshing and it reminds me of the gelato in Italy. With nice presentation and top quality ingredients, I would definitely go back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to be in. The ice cream flavour selection is great and they taste great too. I ordered a melon ice cream shake and boy it was delicious. Definitely going back to get more. I took off a star only for the fact that it is right next to a public parking area and sometimes there was way too much traffic movement for my liking.
