In 2010 werd hij gerenoveerd.
De watertoren werd gezandstraald. Losse voegen en slechte stukken beton werden vervangen of hersteld. De watertoren kreeg ook een waterwerende doorzichtige coating.
In 2019 liep hij door een technisch over!
