★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Wasserette would've gotten a five-star rating if it wasn't for the mistake in our main dish. Sadly, the head-waitress mixed up 'saignant' with 'a point', resulting in an undercooked steak (which was not even saignant IMO). Although she was apologetic when we told her and told us we should've said so, this was beyond the point. The meat was already sliced up in thin slices that re-cooking it would've lost all flavor and juices. Pity, could have been a great experience otherwise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had lunch here in a group of four and really enjoyed our meal. We had the lunch menu which consisted of an appetizer, a main course and coffee or tea to finish. All of the dishes where both delicious and thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and inviting. I would highly recommend de Wasserette if you are in Nieuwpoort and will definitely be back in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic little restaurant. We came in without reservation and during the busy time. So nice and helpful staff. Nice little ”lounge” where we had cocktails.
Food was first class. Try this and you will leave happy. ?
