★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst room and service ever.. it started with the counter not having any additional masks for their guests, and i was told to get one from the shop across the street. Furthermore we waited 45 min before we could check in because there was only one worker at the counter. When saying something about this we got the response it was holiday season, so around that time it was always busy, and that next time we should come at a different time, how rude.. rooms are the worst for a 5 star hotel tho. The matras is like a rock, the rooms are supernoisy(every door slams really loud, so starting from 7 am,I was wide awake) so I barely slept, and the interior is super outdated. Really disappointed because it’s not cheap, will def not recommend and not stay here again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not a 5 star hotel. Starting from the arrive. The lobby is not at a 5 star hotel level. There was a huge queue to check-in, I have never seen this before. We paid for a premium bedroom and they put us almost in the basement. I am pregnant and they gave us a room that was the most far from lift. The view is to air conditioning installation. The room is old and made me feel depressed to get in. I was really excited to spend my babymoon here but it became a nightmare!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is huge considering it's in the heart of the Brussels. The rooms are not tiny but the decor makes it feel a bit small. The hallway give a little Matrix vibe. Had to wait for looong minutes for the water to warm. All in all though we had a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were welcomed by long queue for check-in that I have never experienced in any hotels. Only one person at reception. The other decides to work as guests complain. It is NOT five star hotel at all. Lobby is small. Rooms are small and old. Please look at the photos. Do NOT book! Small TV screen. Nothing plush and posh. Unbranded toiletries. Small bath tub. Dutch people can not be in the bath tub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are small and outdated, the window was not closing well and you could hear everything from outside. It was very cold in the room because of the window. The doors are not closing well, slamming loudly, the glass in the bathroom was dirty and it smelled like beer. No slippers or bathrobes even though we should have had, no coffee machine in the room, just some cheap instant coffee and a water kettle. It definitely doesn't feel like a five star hotel.
I've asked at the front desk for a charger or place to charge my phone, they told me they don't have but the next day I see another guest charging their phone at the reception at a special place where you can charge your phone.
In our package we had dinner (3 course meal) and breakfast included but both we're an unpleasant surprise. We were told we can order the dinner in the room for an extra room service tax of 8 euros. That was reasonably cheap for a room service tax. We chose from their menu what we wanted and at the checkout we had to pay extra 100 euros for room service because apparently what we chose was not included in our meal even tough I specifically asked for the included dinner. I was told at the front desk that maybe they just forgot to tell me.
At breakfast the waiters are literally in your face all the time, speaking just french even if you speak english or dutch. You don't even finish your drink or meal and they take your plate and glass from your table, you feel like they ask you to leave every minute. You don't even feel like eating anymore.
The location is very good but very bad at the same time, because of the poor closing window you can hear everything that's happening outside from police cars, people yelling, traffic etc.
Bad experience overall, the only moment you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel is when you see the prices for everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is truly great.
But compared to other 5 stars hotel I've been, the wall is very thin - woke up multiple times due to sounds from the ceiling and the next door guests talking!!!! Room is quite small too. Not sure if I will come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very friendly and helped for our personal situations (we changed our checkout date during the stay, without any problems).
Rooms are nice, but the shower a bit small. Slept very well in the bed. The „gym“ was a bit disappointing, half of the dumbbells are missing. But the overall experience was very good.
