For those interested, a great experience with good explanations while you walk around the villa remains. While there you can check out the clog museum and the railway museum in Treignes. Nice walking area too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the worst rubbish seen in a while. There were just some building stones laying around in a formation that had to resemble a Roman settlement. But obviously it has been destroyed to smithereens. A sign told us the Germans did that, but I sense the locals are just still being unforgiving to their deeds during the mid 1900's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glad to see information panels have been added to explain how this roman villa has been discovered, excavated and life at that time has been reconstructed. Just a bit pity that nothing has been done with the faunal remains, artifacts and children burial I examined from this villa some years ago.
