★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to get out of the house more, but don't feel any reason to, try walking one of their dogs. The dogs love it and it's a good exercise too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take a walk with dogs for an afternoon. Good preparation before you actually adopt one. They all seem to be well looked after and healthy. It's a stretch to call it Turnhout, since it's a good half hour bike ride from the city center to the place, but it has a nice forest to walk the dogs right next to it. Hope to go there more often.
