There is no standard book followed in English courses and the levels do not conform with the worldwide standard scales (e.g. IELTS and/or TOEFL).
The teaching is focused more on learning complicated words and expressions rather than learning how to use them effectively.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regarding the dutch courses, I do not recommend them unless your native language is a Germanic one. The courses are extremely intensive and include few practice, also the explanations are only given once. In my class most students whose mother tongue was a Latin one were failing the exams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They never pick up the phone, they don't answer emails. The book was available a day before the course started only for 2 hours and if you can't come between those hours you practically don't have a book. Very unprofessional!
