I was asking this company for ten days to se me an offer for the move. I called them twice in between and I never received it till this day.

I had a terrible experience with Transworld in August 2019. While the move was very professionally and reliably prepared and organized upfront, the move itself was a very different experience. The (un)packers (with the exception of 1 at the destination) were very reckless and irresponsible with many of my possessions. Due to this unprofessional behaviour, cleaning products were packed with foodstuffs and chair cushions, just thrown in a box without wrapping, sentimental items were thrown around and a large amount of my furniture was damaged. This is all the more upsetting as some of the furniture is antique and can’t simply be replaced. All the antique furniture needs to be repaired by a specialist. Upon arriving at the destination, one packer was extremely unprofessional and thought that turning the boxes upside down and shaking the goods out was how to unpack. He was reckless with my furniture, refused advice on how to reassemble the antique wardrobe (thus damaging it) and openly rude to his colleague. In the end I requested they leave. As the boxes were incorrectly marked, a significant amount of time was spent trying to find our possessions and then carrying them to the correct room. Quite often items inside the boxes were a mess. It certainly did not help that the furniture was being dissembled and reassembled by different people. Hence they did not know where some items such as keys were (one key for a bike lock was simply broken off!), that boxes had been wrongly marked and how to assemble some of the furniture - and then blamed the packers for everything gone wrong or missing.

I had a big move of personal belongings, with some heavy and big furniture that I was afraid would not fit through the windows/doors of my apartment. The inventiveness and effort of the moving crew was amazing. Also they came on time, as agreed, kept me informed about the customs procedures, timings, and have followed up with papers when those were needed.

Negative: do not recommend at all Transworld International. A big part of our belongings arrived seriously damaged to Spain, as they did not properly handle, store and transport them. Besides, they put directly on the top of each of our antiques furniture, in the most visible place, a strong sticker, which was not easy to remove and which left a mark. Very unprofessional!

The Transworld people were fantastic. They did a brilliant job packing our house for an international move into storage. Everything was really clearly marked: the UK firm who moved the contents out of storage were really impressed at the quality of packing. Nothing was broken or lost. Excellent service, thank you.
