★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place to take a break, a rich buffet and a peaceful ambient is the perfect combination to go out from time and space the necessary amount of time to restore yourself!!! Very recommended for everyone who wants to turn off time and enjoy a restoring meal near the train station ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it’s possible - I would give this Café only 0 stars. Before we want go back to cologne we would like to have a good coffee and a croissants. We come into this cafe and saw the brunch. We ask the boss if it’s possible to only have a cafe and croissant, because we didn’t want to eat so much. He said it isn’t possible. So We ask him to share one brunch price for 12€. Its ok - he said!
So we were happy to joy a little breakfast.
After 5 Min when we sit down and have some breakfast he ask us to pay the bill.
My friend goes to the counter and he want the full price of 2 brunches > 24€
He didn’t want to go back to his first word.
So we paid the 24€ and we were so angry about it. We ask him for a little bag to take two sandwiches with us for the ride. He said it isn’t possible to take some food with us. This wasn’t cool! And we didn’t want to recommend you this cafe. Thanks for nothing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is next door to the hotel we're staying in. We walked past it on our first evening, it looked nice so have been fairly regular ever since. It's owned by Moroccan's so it sells tea with fresh mint. Beyond that, they have panini's and salads. There is a small menu for main dishes, but not many dishes. They also serve crepes, waffles and pancakes with various toppings. The crepes and waffles are made fresh, the pancakes are heated up.
Though the food is good, I've noticed the floor has not been mopped in a few days - that's just lazy and there's no excuse. It makes me wonder how clean it is inside. It's gone from 4 stars to 3 for a simple mistake.

The other person was a bit underwhelmed by their crêpe and espresso. We paid around 17€ for two dishes and a coffee.
