★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What makes Brussels, Brussels? Quite simple: hidden gems such as the Food Hub, a place with character and heart. Don't expect and editorial lay out of produce. The Food Hub, also a place of social employment, has a stict no frills, no fuss just pure organic food policy. As it should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been a couple of times before the corona alarm started and found the quality average, some things good some vegetables went bad very quickly, but that's OK, can happen with bio - although I also got some yogurt that turned out to be expired - my bad that I didn't check, but also should not be on sale if expired. Anyway. Went back during the corona alarm and left without grocery because the safety rules are not respected at all. The girl at the cash counter was wearing no makeup and talking to people without keeping the recommended safety distance. Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We shop here often because they have good products and prices, but they don't keep their website up to date with opening hours. I went recently to find they were close to check their stocks, and I went today to find they are closed until the 5th - the website says nothing about this. Pretty frustrating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place pleasantly surprised me with the variety of produce and the prices - for a bio market they were quite affordable. I found everything I wanted in this place including seasonal fruits and veggies, seasoned olive oil, eggs, yogurt and gluten-free and nitrite-free ham. I also got some veggies as a free bonus, which was a nice gesture.

The goals of Foodhub are maybe generous but it must not be an excuse to offer a quality which is unfortunetly quite low, especially the vegetables and the fruits and the bread .
My last experience 24/07/2021 in Brussels has been particularly negative:
the tomatoes were full of fsmall flies, not fresh at all. Most of the fruits instead of being firm were all too soft, with one exception a new batch of red plums.
None of the fruit/vegetables were refrigerated. In summer time it is a must.
Breadrolls were inflated (lots of adjuavants!).
The "nonchalance" of some workers will lead to the extinction of the shop.
Organic does NOT mean being loose with the freshness, the cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderfull place full of fresh high quality small producers organic food, from Belgium, Sicily, Spain, some products are very high quality for a good price, like the olive oil, some wines, the avocado's, oranges, and vegetables grown locally in the project nearby. The choice of first quality cheeses is also very recommendable. In contrary to some other reviewers, I find the service also excellent.
