β β β β β This is honestly the best place to eat pralines in Belgium. The taste is uncomperable to the other well-known brands because you can actually taste the love put into it. The owner is very nice and open to talk with clients - makes the whole experience even more amazing.

β β β β β We're living in Mechelen for the year. Went home for Christmas to the US. Brought chocolate from The Cacao Project for many friends and relatives. They all loved it! We get it often in Mechelen. Great service in the store, and the chocolate is made right there! There are many chocolatiers in Mechelen, but only two make chocolate in town, and Cacao Project is our favorite.

β β β β β This is a lovely little shop to visit for choloates in Mechelen. The owner is very friendly and was kind enough to speak with us and help us with our choices - and even kinder still to let us try a little sample. The chocolates comes in a wide array of traditional and less traditional flavours. Their appearance is impeccable with some being really eye catching. The textures are fantastic. The flavours are subtle (maybe a little too much so for my personal taste) but nevertheless distinctive. If I'm ever in Mechelen again then I will surely return to try more.
