De groenten burger was niet helemaal warm. De pannenkoeken waren van die opwarmdingen uit de magnetron. Niet echt super gegeten dus.Omelet was beetje aangebrandt
Er werd een schriftje op tafel gegooid waar we onze gegevens in moesten vullen ivm covid19, .Had wel wat vriendelijker gemogen.
Moet zeggen de dames werken kei en kei hard en zijn aardig
De locatie is prima maar het eten is niet super
Well,
The vegetable burger was not completely warm. The pancakes were those microwaved warmers. Not really good food. Omelet was a bit burnt
A notebook was thrown on the table where we had to fill in our details because of covid19, could have been a bit more friendly.
Have to say the ladies work really hard and are nice
The location is fine but the food is not superb

Mijn vrouw heeft zeetong gegeten. Deze waren niet opgekuist en doordrenkt van het vet, samen met de frietjes. Het was een vettige bedoening. Hoe durf je zeetong te geven met de kop en de milt er nog aan ????? Uiteraard is de prijs maar 15 euro. Dit was ondermaats en haalde zelfs niet het niveau van een doordeweekse ordinaire brasserie.
Ikzelf heb een entrecote gegeten. Deze zag grijs, was veel te dun om saignant gebakken te worden. Het stuk vlees was ook vrij taai en zeer slecht gebakken. Het leek mij eerder gekookt. De bearnaise-saus kwam recht uit een pakje. Echt triestig.
Het enig goede aan het tafelen was de rode wijn en de Italiancoffee en de Grandmarniercoffee. Dat was echt heel goed en niet te evenaren.
Beste chef, zoek je een goede beenhouwer. koop ook je Mosselen niet meer in Aldi of Delhaize of Lidl, tenzij je de jumbo’s of dingemans koopt.
Per slot van rekening betaalden wij de rekening voor een slechte maaltijd. Reeds voor de derde maal. Wij komen enkel nog terug om iets te drinken. Doe er iets aan alsjeblieft.

My wife ate sole. These had not been cleaned and drenched in grease, along with the fries. It was a greasy mess. How dare you give sole with the head and spleen still attached????? Of course the price is only 15 euros. This was below average and did not even reach the level of an ordinary weekday brasserie.
I myself ate a sirloin steak. This one looked grey, was much too thin to be baked lightly. The piece of meat was also quite tough and very poorly cooked. It seemed more cooked to me. The bearnaise sauce came straight out of a carton. Really sad.
The only good things about the table were the red wine and the Italiancoffee and the Grandmarniercoffee. That was really very good and unbeatable.
Dear chef, are you looking for a good butcher. Also, don't buy your Mussels in Aldi or Delhaize or Lidl anymore, unless you buy the jumbos or dingemans.
After all, we paid the bill for a bad meal. Already for the third time. We only come back to have a drink. Please do something about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first you would walk by this café but you really shouldn’t. It’s nothing crazy, yet a cosy stay with plenty of good food and drink options. Great waitress with excellent service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience. Never again! Obnoxiously unfriendly and impatient staff. The place was almost empty, so I really don't understand how they could take ages to serve pasta, which actually looked and tasted like heated up in a microwave oven. The waitress brought us bottles of water from the kitchen that were already open and, worst of all, that we did not order. She misunderstood what we wanted, and instead of asking to confirm, she brought us what she thought we wanted. Bottom line, we had to pay for something we didn't want, and for all I can say might as well have been refilled with tap water, since she didn't open them in front of us. Definitely not a place for tourists, especially if you don't speak the local language.
