β β β β β Nice place, well decorated and the staffs were friendly. I had mussels in white wine and it tasted OK. The mussels were fresh and the french fries were nicely cooked. The service was quick and efficient. Nothing to complain.

β β β β β One would expect a five star food with a five star service, but the truth is it was quite horrific. You could tell the food was prepared in the morning and probably kept somewhere for the remainder of the day.
I had the patΓ©, which smelled horrendously. Bit it was edible to say to least. Next course was the pork sweetbread with mushroom sauce. A tasteless thing with a tasteless sauce with dried mashed potatoes, which felt like they were forgotten somewhere.
Service was good, but we were a larger group and nobody wants to dine for 3 hours in an incredibly hot room. We had to step outside several times not to boil.

β β β β β This is a pretty classical Belgian brasserie with the sort of fare you would expect for such a spot. The food was ok, but really nothing to write home about. Service was friendly. The place had the merit of remaining open during the summer break, when several restaurants in the area are closed for a number of weeks.

β β β β β We had a lovely lunch with great mussels and amazing shrimp croquettes. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was incredibly nice to us, very professional and thoughtful. We really recommend it!

I strongly recommend the toast aux champignons, the steak, the French fries and the Pain Perdu !

β β β β β Friendly ambience, delicious food. A bit crowded. Beyond the kindness, the professional selfconfidence broadcasted by the service staff was a bit less for such a high level place.

β β β β β I was very disappointed. A traditional Belgian dish like vol-au-vent has become with the new chef some horrendous deconstructed thing with deep-fried chicken and basically no pastry; but some grissini-like dough. One thing is to try to turn something simple into something sophisticated and there's no problem with that at all; but I do have a problem when taste is compromised. I left 90% of my dish untouched. I'm writing this bad review with lots of hesitation and sadness because it's such a wonderful place; but the food is just underwhelming and typical Belgian dishes have become odd and plainly bad-tasting.
