 Going to "Avenida" as it came to be known among us, is always a pleasure that can only be compared to the great sympathy of the three, and sometimes four, ladies who work in that temple of Portuguese cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enfin un porco alentejana digne de ce nom, quelques formules spéciales le weekend, plat du jour pas cher le midi et une chouette carte. Service très sympathique et gentil, sans prétention mais resto qui vaut vraiment le détour. Prix raisonnables et honnêtes.
Finally a porco alentejana worthy of the name, some special formulas on weekends, cheap dish of the day for lunch and a nice menu. Very friendly and kind service, unpretentious but restaurant that is really worth the detour. Reasonable and honest prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Portugese food at reasonable prices! We've been here countless times just for a drink but decided to grab dinner a week ago. I got a fresh whole roasted fish with veggies and my partner the steak with beans and rice. The food was fresh, well cooked and clearly authentic. The only negative point was that some components were a bit too salty. The friendliness and excellent service by Bruno more than made up for that though. Our aperitifs + 2 entrees + wine came up to around 45 euros total. Well worth it!
