β β β β β Totally bad service. We've been group of approx. 20 hungry people and after only 1 expensive drink we received the bill without any comments or question. Nobody asked us if we'd like to have another coffee or s.th. to drink. They lied to us and talked about unexisting reservations but they didn't really needn't anymore... we left disappointed...?

β β β β β Absolutely dreadful food and the rudest waiter and owner Iβve ever came across.. me and my boyfriend came to Bruges for just one day and were looking for a cozy place for lunch with outdoor seating area.
We went for a set lunch menu. The soup we got was cauliflower and I love cauliflower but it was absolutely appalling.. common you canβt even make tasty soup.. I didnβt touch my soup and the waiter was completely oblivious and ignored us the whole time.. there was no service whatsoever.. lunch should be quick, but not in this place as you need to wait for ages until you are served. And yeh the owner bringing my main course said you ordered soup and we canβt change anything and everyone likes this soup and I am the only one who doesnβt ..:))and she even asked me if I own a restaurant.. completely oblivious to what a customer service is and havenβt not even a slightest notion how to take criticism.. she even asked my boyfriend because he ate it all - (getting up in the morning at 4am flying and then travelling the whole afternoon ofcourse you get hungry..:) )he said it was very bland and the owner didnβt even know what that meant... so what sort of food you can expect..anyway I didnβt even touch my maincourse and left. The way they are treating their customers is appalling and no one should have to deal with it, common we are just hungry and want to have a tasty lunch.
Avoid avoid avoid!!!

β β β β β Bad service. No menu card after more than one hour waiting. We were only able to order drinks. Then we were 'asked to leave' with a bill placed on our table by the waitress without any further information. When we asked why, they only told us that all the tables had a reservation which they could have told us before

β β β β β Terribly sad. Group of 20 people were not served, we were not even asked if we'd like the menu and then thrown out after half an hour for not ordering.
We then were cussed at on our way out.
There was absolutely no reasonable explanation given for the waitresses terrible behaviour.
It just looked like they would not want to serve us.
If you still read this : this group is frequently out in restaurants together and never had any comparable bad service. Not even close.

β β β β β Food was nice, service was terrible. The waitress was rude, arrogant and snarky - an attitude you wouldnβt normally expect from someone who was supposed to serve you. It took her forever to notice us and take our order. When we tried to inquire about the different dishes she didnβt really give answers, but only answered shortly in a patronizing manner. Whenever we needed something from her she just passed briefly next to us, on purpose not giving us a chance to ask.
Didnβt even get a nice βgoodbye and thank youβ when we left.
It completely ruined the atmosphere, made us feel uncomfortable, will never recommend anyone to sit there.

β β β β β Food delicious... but do NOT speak French or English.... sadly Bruges has fallen in politeness to customers of certain nationalities. My dear mother of 91 was born in Gent and was educated in 3 languages and as we chose to switch between the 3 with other family members.. service and cordiality disappeared. Ridiculous and sadly showing stupid ignorance.

β β β β β Staff is polite and the bathroom is clean. They were accommodating for our two children (we borrowed a high chair and asked details about kids' menu). All the dishes were tasty. I had a real iced tea with berries and a local dish, the Carbonade. Yummy!
