★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na meermaals te genieten van lekkere sushi bij Esaki Hasselt borrelde de nieuwsgierigheid naar het nieuwe restaurant in Genk.
Het was een zeer fijne avond, we genoten van een voorgerecht (sharing plate), diverse sushi en een nagerecht. Het eten was super lekker en de setting van het restaurant bracht Japan mooi in beeld. Authentieke elementen (waaronder kersenbloesems, muurschilderingen met koi's...) werden geïntegreerd in een modern en chique interieur.
Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en vroeg vaak feedback, zo werd na iedere gang ons gevraagd of de maaltijd lekker was en werd tussendoor regelmatig gepolst of we nog iets wensten.
Kortom onze grootste complimenten aan Esaki Sushi Genk!
We komen hier zeker terug!
After enjoying delicious sushi at Esaki Hasselt several times, curiosity arose about the new restaurant in Genk.
It was a very nice evening, we enjoyed a starter (sharing plate), various sushi and a dessert. The food was super tasty and the setting of the restaurant portrayed Japan beautifully. Authentic elements (including cherry blossoms, koi murals...) have been integrated into a modern and chic interior.
The staff was very friendly and often asked for feedback. After each course we were asked if the meal was tasty and in between we were regularly asked if we wanted anything.
In short, our biggest compliments to Esaki Sushi Genk!
We will definitely come back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went with no expectations and we had a great time. The food was really tasty. We took the titanic option and were presented with a "boatload" of sushi. Lots of variety!!
Now,... for the improvements: 1.due to corono,.. you need to scan a qr code to see the menu. A big menu on a small screen and all kinds of unknown names makes it not practical to make a choice.
I write this as a consideration for management to think about.
2. As said .. we order a dish that has a lot of different kinds of sushi... there is no reference... how do I know whattype of sushi I ate ?
These are improvements ... i will definitely be going back and am recommending this restaurant very much. Nice food, cosy setting, nice housewine.
