★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Très belle librairie, vraie librairie avec beaucoup de livres en français également, point Lotto aussi, point de ventes de liseuses etc etc etc ... Très bon accueil et patron sympa et gentil, on y passe chaque fois que nous venons à La Panne ... Et en belles librairies, je m y connais un peu, étant moi même un ex libraire ...
Very nice bookstore, real bookstore with a lot of books in French as well, also Lotto point, point of sale of e-readers etc etc etc ... Very warm welcome and nice and kind owner, we go there every time we come to De Panne. .. And in beautiful bookstores, I know my own a little, being myself a former bookseller ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, I always have to go a long way to this bookstore. But the way is always worth the effort since their staff is marvelously expert in Dutch and Flemish books. Since I live around 500 miles from De Panne I come here only once in a while. But it feels like coming home when I enter this place. Usually, I ask the bookseller who works there for minimum 15 years about the current "must-reads". He never ever failed. His recommendations were always incredibly helpful. Because of him I got in touch with Dimitri Verhulst, Lize Spit, Margot Vanderstraeten and a couple of other writers. To cut a long story short: Standaard Boekhandel in De Panne is a very good idea if you want to buy books written in Dutch.
