★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spontaneously stopped here for dinner. The restaurant has 2 sections. One has more atmosphere than the other part. The tables were set, but not in the 2nd section when we arrived. Our tables were set with cheap paper placemats. A slight disappointment for the entourage experience. But, we turned them over and my kids used them to draw on. We asked for an empty plate for our youngest, so she can have some of our food. They charged us €1,50 in the end for it, which I find very weird and they didn't mention it on forehand.
But... staff is super friendly. And the food delicious. I've ordered the 'vis pannetje' and it was divine. Absolutely spot on delicious. I'm not a big fan of fish, but it was so well prepared. It's an oven dish with a mixture of several kinds of fish and sea fruit. It had all kinds of (soft) texture and flavours. I normally don't finish a fish dish, but I could not get enough of this. I absolutely recommend giving that a try.
