β β β β β Perfect place to visit if you're fan of (war) history. Well kept parts of the Atlantic Wall fortification. You can freely walk around with the audio guide at your own pace.

β β β β β A beautiful open air museum that is well preserved. The explanation provided is really clear and insightful. I recommend to get the combo ticket for the Atlantic wall and the Anno 1465 museum for β¬10. Spare around 4 - 6 hours to visit the place.

β β β β β WW2 exhibition (atlantikwall) was much larger than I expected. Good information about the war with very realistic imagery. Definately a great experience for my 11 yo son who learned about the war in school. Walking through the tunnels, being reminded of what happened there was a sobering experience.
Tour takes about 2,5hours to complete and well worth the entry fee.

β β β β β The place is quite nice. The place is about the structure and instalments used during WW1 and WW2.
However, place is quite big & only few things to see.
Tip: You can also get discount on ticket if you have UITPASS with specific points.

β β β β β A wonderful area for a walk. The WWI/WWII heritage domain is very well maintained and definitely worth a visit. Make sure you take your time though and plan a few hours because there is a lot to see. Sometimes struggled a bit to find our way around. The app included a lot of interesting information but did not include a map, which would have been useful. The app included some great archival photos that are worth stoping to look at.
Not sure how the experience would be with young children. So if there with the family maybe try to plan it for a day when they have activities planned (school holidays and some weekends).

β β β β β Nice open air museum, this is one of the best preserved parts of the Atlantic Wall. Headphones would've been nice with the audio tour, it was hard to understand when you're in a group and more than one person is playing their audio

β β β β β Great open air museum which is not one museum but three. You have the villa of the Belgian prince painter Karel, the mediΓ«val village of Walraversyde where you can visit reconstructed houses and the museum and a part of the Atlantikwall.
Educational for all ages young and old, a view into the German Occupation and coastal defenses built, used and re-used over 2 world wars agains possible allied attacks.
Not expensive, good fun, educational/culture/historic, in a well devised show of how soldiers lived et cetera.
They have a copy of a real Enigma-Machine! :-)
Recommend to everyone, enjoy!!!
