★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is known for it's lunch menus. Unfortunately during summer they don't have them and the prices of the menu are not so interesting compared to it's quality. The sauce from my stew (Stoverij) was burned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I had the 'Pietje Pek' steak which was tasty piece of meat. The 'Gentse Stoverij' was also fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a group of 6 including children. Service was incredibly slow, an hour wait for main course. At the end we discovered they only take cash! I don't carry over 200 Euro so i had to run down the road to find a cash machine. Food was ok, but experience was terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small neighborhood restaurant/bar in Drongen near Gent. Nice terrace with surprisingly little noise from the roads closeby. Extensive menu, quite expensive for Dutch standards but apparently Belgian average. Very, very good meat dishes. Quick and good service. No possibility to pay by card.
